Vincent Bolloré began his career with the Bank of the European Union (1970 to 1976), then became Assistant Manager with the Compagnie Financière Rothschild (1976 to 1981). Since 1981, he has been the CEO of Bolloré S.A., a diversified company operating in the industry and service sectors.

Vincent Bolloré has been Chairman of the Havas Board of Directors since July 2005. He also heads up Bolloré, a holding company with interests in the transportation, industry, and distribution sectors, and in which he is a majority shareholder.
